Between art and street art

Roads and communication routes have been, and still are today, a strong element of identity for Maroggia. In the narrow passage between the lake and the mountain run all the main north-south arteries: the cantonal road, the highway, and the railway. Roads, understood as paths and connections, also include water routes such as the Mara river and Lake Ceresio. Finally, the trails that climb into the mountains are also roads.

In 2015, 2018, and 2021, open-air exhibitions were held in the village of Maroggia, gifting the area with various installations that are still visible today.
